Disclaimer: Maybe this goes in psych forum?
I 4, sometimes 5 table on a 1400*1050 laptop... i've noticed that after 500 hands (1 hr) my game slowly deteriorates and then after 800 hands, it's VERY VERY POOR. Sometimes i'll keep playing, because there is a fish at the table, agianst whom i want all the money-- but this only leads to me losing a buyin. So for me, after 550 hands i usually try and end the session. It's tilt, not due ot the poor play of others, but because i mess up 1 hand and don't get full value-- this snowballs until i'm on crazy monkey tilt, and people are calling me donw w/ 2 middle pair, which sends me further, until i have to just get up and walk away, while in a hand at other tables... I'll just run out of my room, and find something else to do (eat, watch TV, play videogames, drive to gym, etc...). I was wondering, how do i increase my session lenght w/o deterioorating my game? Suggestions? How long are your sessions. I come from a donk 'n go background, so i'm used ot 45-60 minutes sessions w/ a small break inbetween. I have yet to implement short breaks, but does anyone else do this? |

I listen to music to keep me calm for longer sessions.
I rarely play more than 3 hours though. 2 hours is my average session length. |

When I play less than 3 hours I feel unsatisfied... My average session length is 4-5 hours but I have a very ergonomical setup. I 4 table with no overlap by the way.
