Default 6.50: ugly bubble spot with 99

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button (t548)
SB (t7180)
BB (t2429)
Hero (t3343)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero calls t600, Button calls t498 (All-In), SB raises to t7130, 1 fold, Hero pukes in his lap

This hand has it all... huge blinds, a loose big stack, a microstack on the button, and a hand that is right on the thin edge of a push. Pushing seems like it scares away the shortstack and leaves me vulnerable to the inevitable call by biggie with JTs (or whatever), and folding seems too weak without knowing what will happen in the blinds.

thoughts?

Limp is fine, it seems like a pretty easy call to me, shorty has to beat you both. Also shoving looks good too but I don't know which is best. Limping invites the others to limp along and bust shorty, but shoving increases your chances of winning the pot. Someone who is good at these tell me what's best pls.

I think you call it an action limp, I don't know if I like it at t600 with your stack it's probably ok.

If you are limping you don't plan on folding the hand if the short stack goes all in, and you do plan on folding if the short stack folds and the big stack puts you to the test.

Basically if the short stack goes all in you invite the big stack to check it down, unless you have a great flop, but you don't fold with the short stack all in.
