I saw a post somewhere about grammy betting. I know at least a few people in here are following this stuff. Anyone care to share some ideas?

For the record of the year, geezers or "comeback" artists seem to win an inordinate amount of the time. May mean value in RHCP,( closest to geezer).

RHCP aren't nominated for RotY though (in Album of the Year they are).

The top categories are kinda difficult to assess although there seems to be some sort of consensus as to who might win.

Few books are offering Grammy odds (who really wants to bet at Bodog!?) and with three days to go it appears The Greek are only releasing odds sometime within the next 72 hours. Pinnacle haven't bothered.

I think some books are still smarting after last year's U2 wins where bookies were overly generous about their chances.

I've gone for Ludacris to win Rap Album but there seems to be a 40/30/25/4/1 split between T.I./Ludacris/Lupe Fiasco/The Roots/Pharrell.

Cris doesnt have rap album lines.

My plays for the Grammy's are all from Bodog's opening lines over 2 accounts. All of which I hit at 11/9 odds when they opened and once more when they moved the first time which was to 1/2 odds.

Best Alternative Album

Gnarls Barkley $200 to win $172.22

Best Country Album

Dixie Chicks $200 to win $172.22

Best R&B Album

Mary J. Blige $200 to win $172.22

Best Rock Album

RHCPs $200 to win $172.22

My play on TI was smaller just $50 to win $61.11.

I didn't play anything else because I didn't like the opening lines for best Record or best Album.

I don't bet at CRIS (or Pinnacle). I bet with various Euro books and The Greek (I've given up on Bodog despite them being first out with Grammy odds they offer the skinniest lines and semi-abandoned the likes of Intertops).
