Fold preflop, yeah. Misclick flopped the nut straight. Opponent is TAP 20.7/10.9/1.19
with the recent talk about stop-n-gos, I'd like to get people's input on this hand. I know my opponent will fold to superaggression with the threebet on the flop, so I pulled the punch hoping to get the extra BB on the turn and river. I'm OOP so there's really no guarantee here. I just wanted input. Poker Stars Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $0.25/$0.5 9 players Converter Pre-flop: (9 players) nerdking is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 folds, MP2 raises, 4 folds, nerdking calls. Against a passive postflop player, you can't count on the b/3b line. I don't even like the flop donk, really, but if I do, and it works, I'll 3bet there. I prefer a turn c/r against this guy, myself.

with you leading the flop, I actually like check raising the turn. you will definately get paid off by AK and KQ and any overpair.
I would have check raised the flop and then kept betting from there. |

[/ QUOTE ] the problem with c/r the turn is that if he has a medium PP, such as JJ, which he appears to be representing, he may be scared of the K and check behind... i know it makes no sense but generally this is a non thinking player yes? |

"TAP" = monsters under the bed.
like i said it doesnt make sense. i still think its possibly irrelevant to this player and they will fear the K. im not saying i disagree with you entirely, just that when this particular turncard hits i think we are likely approaching neutral ev between the 2 lines. |

also consider this:
if he has raised the flop with overs such as AK, when we bet we will possibly even get 3bet giving us even more value from a bet/3 line on the turn |

this is dumb, what is with this forum as of late?
3-bet the flop, lead turn, lead river as played, c/r turn, villain is aggressive enough that he will bet the turn and call down as the pot will to big for him to fold (7.2BB hurr hurr) |
