I keep seeing sbrugby cited at the best online player. Highstakesdb has him up 500K in January on Full Tilt and I think it's more than that. Is he just running insanely hot or is he that much better than the rest?

Some of both. I dont know because I havent played with him before but Id say he's better than most other players at his level (100/200-200/400).

There are always going to be people that have a natural born talent for some things. Some people are extremely good at math; others are extremely good at poker. Townsend obviously has a natural ability to play poker. His brain is wired for it.

I've watched him play a few times and I'd say his best skill is his reads and just acting perfectly based off those. He is just relentless with his value bets or bluffs. That and just always learning and improving and putting in hours. I don't think he has some natural ability and that he was destined to succeed, he just wants it more than everyone else.
