Default Any last minute advice?

I just free-rolled my way into the $100,000 MTT.

I'm admittedly a low-stakes cash game NL player, thus I spend the vast majority of my time perusing those boards.

Anybody have some general advice on things I should do differently than in a 100BB cash game?

I'm guessing the best I can hope to do is just play a basic short stack strategy and hope I hit some hands.

(I plan on browsing this forum much more in the future)

Are you talking about the Stars $162? If you're a good cash game player, you'll have no problems in early stages. You may have problems in the later levels if you don't have much MTT or SnG experience. When you get to the 10 bb range, pushbotting skills that you acquire from SnGs are important. And 15-25bb stack sizes can be tricky to play if you haven't had much MTT experience. After the 2nd hour, pretty much everybody will have an avg stack of like 20-25 bbs.

GL. Get AA many times.

Don't avoid coinflips.

Push all in more than you call all in.

Squeeze and resteal.

Become a maniac on the bubble.

Good luck

1) When you are ahead you will need youre hands to hold
2) When you are behind you will need to suckout.

If you do those 2 things right you will win.

Was just speed reading that as well as I could.

At the 5 minute break, haven't been knocked out yet.

Maybe I'll at least make it to 400. I'd like to beat half the field, anyway.

Think I'm out of AA's, though.
