Default The FBI can see you through your TV

Atleast that's what my Dad and Uncle were trying to convince me of. They were sure too. My dad said he heard on the radio that TV's made after 2000 have that capability. I can't believe something like this very easily, for multiple reasons. I did find some evidence that may be supportive of what they are saying here though: LINK

Will somebody that has knowledge in this area clear this up for me? It seems that with the right TV/ Cable box setup it may be possible.

It's 100% true. Always be careful what you do in front of the TV.

Think about it: Cable TV lines process data in two directions. How else would there be cable modems and VOIP? This technology is real.

I actually opened up my new 50" plasma TV to upgrade it to LCD, and I saw a camera in there connected to a high powered antenna. Maybe this all makes sense...

Yeah, you know that thing that looks like the screen? Well that really is just a big camera used to spy on you.

The CIA really owns all television stations.

I don't doubt that a TV could be setup to do this, but do you think if the FBI wanted to see through my tv into my house tomorrow they could do it. I don't buy it.

I was with you for the first two sentences of your post, but I'm pretty sure that there aren't any TV stations, and everything you're watching is just a reflection of your inner psyche.

Sort of like how all life is simply the universe experiencing itself subjectively.
