Default Some Boxing For This Weekend

Ok I decided to post this because I saw a couple good lines that could makes some people money.

Dominick Guinn v. Zuri Lawerance Feb. 2 on ESPN 2.
OVER 9.5 @ -241. These odds should be closer to -300 or higher. Guinn is an uninspired fighter who showed flashes, but lately goes through the motions in the ring. Zuri is a slick heavyweight who likes to move, he should move around the ring making Guinn come to him and Guinn will recluctanly do it, not a whole of action which means an easy over. Also Zuri @ +175 is a decent dog bet.

Saturday Feb 3rd.
Corey Spinks v. Rodney Jones.
OVER 11.5 @ -256. Again an over line that is way off this one should be close to -350. Anyone who has seen Spinks fight knows he is not going to KO anyone and Rodney Jones who is not KO specialist. Rodney hasn't been KO'ed in over 3 years. Easy Over.

Tomasz Adamek v. Chad Dawson:
Dawson @ + 201.
This the a setup in competition for Dawson and Adamek is a very good fighter. You could make a case as this fight being amonngst 2 of the 5 top Light heavies. I watched Adamek's last fight and he took a beating from a game Paul Briggs. Adamek has tons of heart and will take a beating and keep coming. Dawson's last fight was another step up against an aging champ in Eric Harding. Many, myself included, thought Harding would surprise Harding and win the fight, Boy was I wrong. Dawson looked BRILLIANT (imagine Calzagne/Lacy all over again) in that fight. I am going to believe Dawson rises to the challenge this time and beats Adamek. Judging from both's most recent fights and their styles I like the under as well @+221. I see Dawson stopping Adamek with a barrage of punches causing multiple knockdowns and thus leading to a ref stoppage, but a stoppage on a cut on Adamek would not surprise me in the least, that is a VERY real possibility.

Ok since Pinny and Neteller kicking me in the nuts, I am enjoying these fights solely on fan's standpoint.

Good Luck and Enjoy the fights.

*BTW The lines I posted were from Pinny, still the best lines out there*

I'm already on the over on Spinks. agree 100% on that.

I'll take a closer look on the other two, but passes the "sniff test" from here...

Thanks for posting, Tuds
