Standard JJ overpair situation
No stats on this player, honest. No other reads which is annoying because this is very read dependent. I've been playing 19/15 on the table but I dont think he's been around long enough to realize

Re: Standard JJ overpair situation
i really can't see any and hero beats that shoves here
if he is new to the table i don't think he will semibluff or make a move very often here if he knows what he is doing |

Re: Standard JJ overpair situation
hero "beats" diamonds. Like akdd. But yeah, not very likely, and even if you're up against it youre flipping most of the time. So either flip or dead(smaaall chance of bluff I guess, but I doubt it), just fold.

Re: Standard JJ overpair situation
What are you all putting him on, a slowplayed big pair? Fold though b/c when its a draw we're still only slight favorite.

I think this is a slow played big pair very rarely

Re: Standard JJ overpair situation
You need to put in another 280 to win 800.
That makes it 35% for break even. It is very player dependent as you say. He must very much suspect that it is likely you are on overs and still he pushes. If it is a player who likes to push good flush draws with an A in I'd call. If it was not a flush draw on board I'd fold most of the times. He might have a slowplayed AA,KK. I'd be surprised if he played a made set like that. A smaller raise would be much better. |

$8 pf raise on 6 max table? Smells like a big pair....

Re: Standard JJ overpair situation
I think this is a set or two overcards with diamonds like always. Plus the occasional tricky played overpair thrown in there.... fold.
