Playing Q6s against Aggro(Lim Cash)
I often find myself on the button HU with hand like Q6s against very agr player. If I raise he will 3 bet 50% and will bet flop turn automaticly. If I call he will raise most likely and bet again flop turn.If he just call my raise he will play the hand also agresive.I don't have good read on him but he will raise my continuation bet very often. 1.What other factors do you consider before you make decision here? 2.What would be your plan if that is all you know about him? |

Re: Playing Q6s against Aggro(Lim Cash)
Obviously you should just call preflop with a hand like q-6 suited . If he always bets the flop with any two cards , then you MUST call his flop bet no matter what . With all the money in the pot , your hand is good enough to call the flop .
Look at it this way . Suppose he always bets the flop , turn and river . You have position so you can elect to call him down if you wish . You'll be getting real odds of (6+1+2+2)1+2+2) which is 2.2:1 odds . This means that you only need to win 1/3.2 to show a profit in calling him down . If you expect to win more than 31.25% of the time , then it's correct to call . If you play around with pokerstove , you'll be justified in calling this player down . 2) My plan is simple . Call this player down most of the time with an average hand like q-6 suited . Never fold on the river/turn to his bets if you make it past the flop !! |

[/ QUOTE ] That's pretty bad advice I play very agressively HU and when I see players start calling me down (and NOT raising) with little I know I'm gonna make a lot of money |

This is limit hold em .
If you fold q-6 s preflop then you have issues . |

Do you agree with me now?
If not , I can back it up with some boring math . Do you want me to do that ? |

Re: Playing Q6s against Aggro(Lim Cash)
You suggested if I'm not wrong to call his flop bet 100% of times and then call down turn and river ?
Let's see how you will back this up |
