Default Beat: Worst Live Beat

Playing poker at The Wynn last weekend when I hear a bunch of commotion 2 tables over. I get up to see the following hand just occured.

2-5 NL table.

Flop comes A,9,x

Player 1 bets, Player 2 raises, player 1 shoves all in called by player 2. Each had stacks of around $500.

Player 1 turns over 99

Player 2 turns over AA

Turn...9... Player 1 goes crazy.

River...A

Player 1 looks like a ghost and the whole table erupts.

Beat: The Wynn has no bad beat jackpot.

Worse live bad beat...

Flop 6c7c8c

P1-check
P2-check

Turn 9c

P1-check
P2-huge overbet
P1-arrr in
P2-call

Both flip up cards

P1-4c5c
P2-Jc10c

River blank

Straight flush over straight flush, and yes there is a badbeat beat jackpot, the worse part of the beat was when the floor came over and declared no jackpot. "sorry sir, both cards have to play for a jackpot to be declared"

P1-5c6c7c8c9c (no longer uses the 4c b/c of the 9 on the board)

P2-7c8c9c10cJc

Everyone at the tabel was pretty pissed.

What's especially funny is the fact that unless the 9c hits, there is no jackpot hand anyway. Meh.
