18 man $15 turbo, 5 left, sm pair, chip leader on your left in SB

massive chip leader with about 12-13k on my left in the SB.; next two guys have about 4k. I've got a little over 3k, last place has a little under 3k. blinds just went up to 400/800. 1-4 pay. 5 is bubble boy.

The chip leader has been making questionable calls with small aces, two broadways, doubling people up or knocking them out.

folded to me on button with 44. raise? push? call? fold? If you raise but not all in, how much and what's your plan if the chip leader pushes?

oops. I forgot to factor my M before deciding how much to raise. the blinds had just gone up. i had been raising to six hundred. so now I went to 1k. big stack pushed. I folded. big stack took someone else out and I squeezed out a 4th.
