Any chance of getting away??
This is from a tournament in a casino in Sweden, aprox buy-in is $300. I'm in SB with Ad8h, folded to the button who limps, I limp and BB checks. I cover them both.
Flop: Td9d3d I check, BB bets 2/3 pot, BTN calls as do I. Turn: 7h I check again, BB bets 2/3 again BTN thinks for a while and calls, I think I'm getting right odds and calls again. River: 8d Bingo, I check, BB insta goes all in, BTN goes to the tank and folds. Me??? BB is a TAGish player. He looks extremely comfortable he is actually eating some potatoe chips he brought after he's all in. He's no amateur and certainly knows what he's doing. BTN is not that good really and could have had Qd. His all in represents about 3/4 of my stack and leaves me very short stacked. I don't remember the exact blinds, but it's about 2 tables away from final table. |

Re: Any chance of getting away??
Are you seriously asking about folding an ace high flush in a tournament?
You should have check-raised all in on the turn but this post belongs in the bad beat forum if you are asking about losing to a straight flush. |

Re: Any chance of getting away??
mmmmmm what hand are you worried about? If youre beaten by the str8 flush so be it. And I certainly dont think his eating of potato chips should be taken into account.
