Final pot: $212.9

Villain had been playing at 11/9 over 75 hands. He has repopped me a few times when i button or c/o raise but hadn't been getting out of line. When he flat calls my checkraise i really felt like i was in trouble. I really thought either AA or AK in which its a split pot. On the turn, there was already $107.50 in the pot and if he pushes for around $55 more i don't think there's any way i can fold getting 3:1, so i go ahead and do the dirty work. What do you think? Any way to realistically get away from this hand or just a cooler?

i dont like calling the rr w. AK oop as much. i suppose sometimes it works, but generally hand is really hard to play oop in rr-ed pot.

anyways, i think you should c/c the flop and take it from there. your c/r doesnt really accomplish too much, theres not a tremendous amount of value in the c/r as i dont see many hands he would call us w. that we beat (hes not going to call a c/r w. QQ for that matter).

Whats your prefference? reraise or fold? against a villian who is similar to this one. And also, against a villian who lets say is 25/15 a little looser.

i typically rr or fold, i dont like messing around oop in rr-ed pots much at all. same w. the 25/15, but against anything like a 30/10 guy, ill just 4-bet pf or whatever.

I'm with orange in that calling a 3bet preflop OOP with AK is a very tricky spot. You're not going to see AQ/AJ/KQ and get paid very often, and when you miss the flop you're kind of floundering in the dark the rest of the hand.

Against an 11/9 I'm folding this often and 4-betting sometimes. Against looser players I'm 4-betting much more often.

OP - what are *your* stats looking like? You mention he repopped you a couple times already in just 75 hands, which seems like a fair amount - are you raising like over 20%? If you're LAGing it up, I'd be much more inclined to 4-bet preflop.

Anyways, after you c/r the flop you're meat. His original flop bet looks like a "please-call-me" bet, and when he smooth calls your c/r it's just over. I think you have to fold the turn, despite the attractive pot odds.

If he has 3 bet me a couple of times before, I push.

If not, I fold. Playing AK OOP in a 3bet pot is not fun.

As played, call flop bet.

I was playing around 17/13 at the time and hadn't got out of line...so it seems i should have dumped preflop against an 11/9 but if he was looser 4bet? Also on the flop I should have c/c and c/f the turn? As played, i should have c/f the turn?
