I have just recently started buying in with the full 200 and am not used to making deep stack decisions, so advice is appreciated. I suppose the preflop action is pretty standard (maybe I could raise a little more), but it sure seems like I effed it up somewhere. I figured that with his numbers that it was probably a big PP from UTG, so what is the fine line between milking something like KK or QQ here and getting worked by a set?
The UTG raiser has 12/7 stats from GT+. strange line by UTG. i raise the flop to 60. as played, i bet turn for 65. as played, call is close on turn. I would definitely consider folding. as played, fold river. I think you were shown JJ/88 here.

RR flop. You'll have no clue where you are on later streets.
If you are going to call $12/57, then why not check behind on the turn? I mean, are you trying to trap but at the same time give your opponent 6:1 to catch his draw on the flop? You either have to build a pot on flop / figure it out OR you need to call with the intent to keeping the pot small [on this board]. If ass clown calls your RR on flop, you can fire again on turn (~3/4ers pot). If he bets, you can call depending on its size. |

Seems like an easy 3bet/fold to a push on the flop? Wayyy to draw heavy flop to call his weak ass lead, and I doubt a typical full ring nit is 4bet shoving a worse hand 200 BB deep.
I also think can find a fold on the river. Edit to add that you might want to post this in the FR forum as well |

i feel i need to chime in. dont listen to first responder, you wont gain any knowlege. if you want deep stack advise here is some concepts ive learned playing deep at these same stakes, although your 2x buy in stack wasnt really deep. im not going to tell you how to play your hand although you played it badly and compounded mistakes by river although you might have won the pot.
1) dont tighten up once deep stack is achived, although you will need to change gears most the time 2) protect your stack against other deep stacks. what i meen here is when villan raised 6 pf and u made it 16, thats a little light/thin. look to get HU in these kinna situations with a bigger more agggresive bets especially with AA. AA 3way is bad 3) dont fall in love. deep stack players can fold AA when needed even if they can afford to call r/r 4) figure out who is scared/taking shots at your stack, and exploit them 5) and most importantly pick up all the dead pots that seem to be unwanted with small bets. 1/2 pot works fine |

i make it 42 on flop, check behind on turn if he calls, and bet river if checked to or call a bet. full ring nits always have AA-TT/AKs or something here, no?
there's a full ring forum btw. |

Is that "general" advice meant for MTTs?
I would raise slightly more preflop, and put a decent raise in on the flop, the hand will play much more straightforward then. |
