reraise preflop. Especially if villain is raising light in position. You don't mind ending the hand right there. Playing AKo oop isn't too nice against an aggressive player who is willing to put all his chips in the middle with as little as a TP and a decent kicker. Then lead the flop for potsize.

As played, the check/raise on the flop is a good move but it is too small. You'd love to get it ai on this flop but the pot doesn't make this attractive yet. Raise to 10 and call a push. Probably a donkbet that he raises followed by your push would be the best strategy here.

The turn card is very ugly, because if villain had a strong K that is weaker than your AK, he probably has a boat now. And there are a few straights possible. I think I snap call this often because I hope that villain is tilting. But I think a fold is good too.

Of course the action on later streets biased my thinking. But in general I think, you shouldn't slowplay AK in that position against an aggressive player here because you will spend a lot of time calling without having a lot of information.

Reraise preflop. Especially given your reads.
On the flop checkraise more to at least 8-9. Call a shove like genz said.
Turn is close. Lots of Hands that beats you. But you beat some Hands too. Maybe villain is on Tilt. So I would make a crying calll and hope for AA, QJ or a lower King.

Probably like the easiers 3bet PF you will ever make playing OOP vs that villian with CO still to act.

As played I would c/r flop too but make it more like $8-10.
