Default NL25: AK makes 2 pair against a guy who is not scared

Villain is 73/18/1 over just 11 hands. He seems utterly unconcerned that we 3-bet his raise and keep on betting.

Value bet or check behind?

OK, now I've gone to the utter nittiness extreme . Darned. "How can he not know that I have either AA/KK/AK/QQ?". I'm zigging and zagging at tottally the wrong times.

OMG the monsters... they're everywhere!

Yes, a push is super standard with these short stacks. If you were deeper naturally you should valuebet instead. A large overbet in that case would fold out all hands except those who beats you.

I couldn't put him on a hand that would call that I can beat so I CHECKED BEHIND. Yes, I really sometimes am that stupid. I looked up his stats only afterwards, that contributed. He had A9o BTW.

I frequently suffer from MUBS too. It's something I'm working very hard to overcome. It's rooted in the belief that villains should be playing in a manner which makes sense. However, that would assume they actually know what they are doing when, generally, they don't. If I can just internalize that, I think I'll become more confident in extracting the maximum possible value from my hands.
