Default Turn c/r bluff

Villain stats are 22/17/3.4 over 1300, these are all datamined. This is the first time i have played with this guy. We have been at the table for a little bit and if hes paying attention he would see me on the nittier side of TAG.

His turn bet was odd to me, i think he would only bet pot if he wanted me to fold, and so far i have played my hand like im drawing.

Bad thing is, he may think its odd that i went for a C/R on such a drawy board, because the hand that im repping is a set and only a set.

i think fold and try to find a better spot. This isnt really a board u want to be making a play like this on. the PSB seems wierd, but i kinda think he has a pretty big hand like QQ+ or AhKh and just wants to take the pot down there. I dont think he'd make a bet that big on a bluff.

basically, the only hand ur folding thats ahead of u, and thats part of his utg range is AJ.

At a second glance at this, do u think he may be betting this much on the turn so he can shove the river and it only be abit more than a PSB... which would indicate he has a set. But yeah, id be folding the turn.

[/ QUOTE ]Or if he wanted the river to be an easier push, right?

I think the hand is fine, but everytime I do crazy [censored] like this I get looked up and lose to JJ or something gay like that.

Use your reads. He's folding QQ>. His UTG raise puts his range with TT-AA, AK,AQ,AJ,AT which he will all fold except JJ of course.

Play the player, don't play the cards.

Take advantage of that read an abuse it

geez dan, think about his perspective.

NITTTY TAG CALLS FROM SB and C/C FLOP - what do u think he has????

70% small/med pp; 30% draw;

NITTY TAG OFFERS ME A FREE CARD ON TURN

No doubt he bets a huge range on the flop, but he is reading yr c/r for what it is: a combo draw u may have picked up on turn or a med strength hand trying to pick off a 2 barrel.

No doubt if he has a brain he has u figured here. He can easily call with a hearts draw and know he can bluff u with any A,K,Q. Also, with a J he is likely to push u in...

Oh yes ur NOT repping a set. Nitty tags don't check sets twice on drawy boards.

Think of it this way. SB is a nitty tag. What it do?
