Default Live 5/5 NL Fallsview top pair facing large river bet

Background:

A few hands previously, I attempted to bluff villain with a check-shove with a $1000 stack into a $350 pot on the flop with AK clubs oop on a 3-bet preflop hand that came Ks 10s 3s and he called with AsAh and held up. So we have some history.

So, onto the hand

Relative stack sizes:

Hero (Hijack) $600
Villain ( UTG+1) $3000+

Villain opens to $40 UTG +2, a standard open for him, and he's a LAG, who fast plays everything, and has a wide opening range. He seems very competent, which is rare for the fallsview 5/5 tables, and has shown down strong hands and complete air on a 2-1 split. He bets his hands strongly, and most bets are pot sized. I feel he is easily trappable though, and can't lay down a big hand.

I call in the HJ with KhJh

Flop:

Kd 7h 9s

V bets out $80, and I call, looking to exploit his aggression in position on the turn.

Turn:
10h

V checks, and I bet $140, expecting him to check raise with a big hand, and I plan on pushing for value. He just calls, which I find very strange.

River:
7s

V1 briefly eyes my stack, and throws out 2 $100 bills, and 2 green chips.

Whats my move?

The bet size relative to your stack makes it somewhat likely that its a bluff, but that's really all you beat. This situation is very read-dependent. If you don't have a strong read that he's on a bluff, I say lay it down.

3bet pf and avoid this situation. As played I don't see how you can call. You beat nothing except a T and a bluff, and I don't think you'll see that often enough. If he wanted to bluff it'd be more likely he would shove.

I agree. The fact that he looked at my stack first, and bet such a big percentage of my stack that calling leaves so little back that I might as well push made no sense to me.
