Default Lucky Chances Limit Info Needed

Thinking of going to Lucky Chances from Reno.

What can you tell me about the mid-limit games, 9/18 and 20/40? How many people are playing? Calibur of player? How many to the flop, showdown? Do they go all the time, day and night? Any one to watch out for?

Any info will be helpful. Thanks

The last 2 times I went to Lucky Chances(late last year) they weren't even running a 20/40. The 2-3-5 spread limit game killed the 20-40, and the 9/18(one game) wasn't a great game.YMMV.

Wow, that sucks. Is it worth going to Bay101 Then? Are there any places closer worth going to?

Bay101 is a possibility. Also, the 15 and 30 games at the Oaks in Emeryville are pretty damn good.

Limit at LC is pretty dead. Usually the highest you'll see is 6/12, with 9/18 going occasionally. The 20/40 and higher games haven't gone in a long time.

A few miles from LC is Artichoke Joe's, with 15/30 regularly.

However if you are driving all the way from Reno, you might as well stay on the east side of the bay and drive down to bay 101. It is a much better choice for limit.

Uhh they are lucky to have a 9/18 game even going anymore. Mostly just 3/6 and 6/12. Kinda sucks lol

That depends on the time of day - they can have up to four 20/40s going when it gets busy. They could probably support a bigger game at those times but don't seem so inclined.

I don't think it's worth the effort to cross the bridge, stay on the Eastbay. Also, I haven't seen LC run 9/18 or higher in many moons. With the no limit going again, I doubt we'll see it for a long time.
