Default NL50 - Fold the flopped flush?

At work so I don't have the hand history but I remember it very well.

Stars NL50 table, 9 players.

Its my very first hand at table. I am in BB with 10/6 of clubs. 4 limpers I believe, I check the BB. Flop comes K/7/4 of clubs. SB checks, I bet $1.50 into $2.50 pot. Folds to SB who pushes for $45ish more. My move?

Once the flop hits my goal would be to get all in before another club can fall or the board pairs. To that end, I call this immediately.

$0.02.

I'm a nit, and I'd have to fold this.

lol...I am a NIT usually myself but over the past week have made some calls that my head said not too but I did anyway. Some are just bad but I thought this one was reasonable.

My thoughts were if he has a higher flush than me, why the overbet shove like that. I figured he may have has the A of clubs, 2 pair, etc. and wanted to end the hand.

I called and villain had J/8 of clubs for the higher flush. Was 2nd time I was stacked in less than 5 minutes. Bad start for the night.

Ouch, sorry.

I folded two I should have stayed with last night. Sometimes you just can't get it right.
