running bad, checking line.
i've been running about a bad as a fat midget on stilts and i'm starting to think that maybe there is something wrong with a couple lines of mine. ex
Assume 100 BB stacks, im in BB in a limped pot. i have J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] flop is J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] i pot 3 or 4 handed and get a strong raise, about 3-4 times my initial bet. how do you take it from here? how do you play it if you had top and bottom pair instead of top two? what if its a rainbow? |

Re: running bad, checking line.
hey, im sorry if you guys find this sorta thing trivially easy, i mean, usually i try to get this all in. However i have not met any success over the last few thousand hands here and i wanna know if i should play it more passively or something

Re: running bad, checking line.
This depends on so many things. Reads on villian? position VIllian limped in? Exact size of the raise? What is your image at the table? How often have you seen villian push a draw?

Re: running bad, checking line.
You have to look to get it in here. Just 3 bet and call a shove. The board is so drawy his range is huge and you are way ahead. If he has a set, oh well. If it's a rainbow flop you have more options, such as smooth calling the raise and then looking to get in on the turn.
