Default Anyone here good at coldfusion?

Trying to learn it so i can develope some web applications. If anyone is expert level using it, can u recommend me any good books to help me get better.

My current skill level is Novice.

(need to learn about creating users, forms, creating charts, recording ips, etc mostly simple stuff)

Read any of Ben Forta's books. the oldest one is the best (contrary to conventional wisdom).

Not to answer a question you didn't ask....but I'd really recommend learning something else. Both PHP and Ruby on Rails would be great choices. I currently work in a fairly large Rails environment and love it.

Please don't waste your time learning coldfusion.

I'd highly suggest picking up PHP instead. The basics are very easy, and it's 1000x more flexible than coldfusion.

Plus, every web server on earth has php/mysql installed now.
