Default foxwoods poker rate?

Does anyone know if Foxwoods offers a poker rate and how much? Forgot to ask last time I was there.

They do not offer poker rates. If you have a Wampum Card and log in online, you can usually get a midweek (Sun-Thu) room this time of the year for $69 (Two Trees) or $79 (Towers).

There's other local alternatives that are reasonable, but since you asked specifically about the Poker Rate I guess you want to stay at Foxwoods.

I'm interested in local alternatives, however. The closer and cheaper, the better. All I'm really looking for is a semi-warm room and a shower in between poker sessions...any suggestions?

Thanks,
-Brian

Closest are probably Cedar Park Inn & Whirlpool Suite or Hilltop Inn & Suites.

I have stayed at both and they are fine, weekends can be expensive.

There are cheaper motels east of Foxwoods near 95.

There is a Holiday Inn Express north of Foxwoods about 10 miles on 495, decent rates.

There is an Americinn close by as well.

I have heard there are plenty of alternatives in Groton, but since I come from the north I have never used them.
