Default Sound Recording Software

Can anyone recommend software for recording the sound that is playing on my computer and that allows me to play it back at twice (roughly) the speed?

Thanks.

Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio:

You can change the speed of playback to faster or slower and it will keep the pitch the same (i.e., no "chipmunk" effect).
