Default I quit tournaments.

If I play a tournament before the end of February, I will give $1,000 +$50 /day(Feb. 1 = 1050, Feb. 10 = 1500 etc.) to whoever sees me first.

That is all.

why do you quit tournaments? are you going to focus on cash games, or just focus on making money in other ways (buying seats, other staking, business stuff, etc)

I'm looking forward to mocking you relentlessly next Sunday about how much you regret making this post.

why do you quit tournaments?

[/ QUOTE ]
I realized that I am not that good at them, don't like them, can no longer take them seriously and hate seeing certain players being significantly more successful than me(not like players I have a grudge against, but people who suck even more than I do).

Also, I am annoyed with discussing hands that end up with "this shouldn't ever actually be a fold, but it is a pretty easy fold", and from the cash games I have played; even when I'm not running better than god; I just seem to enjoy it more, more knowledge of players, more room to "play poker" (as fishy as that sounds), less disappointment, and a better sense of satisfaction/improvement. In my situation, there is only so much I can make at tournaments, and I feel that if I were to take them seriously, I am getting awfully close, and its not really that much, would like to see where I plateau for cash, later in 2007 I may come back.

are you going to focus on cash games

[/ QUOTE ]

Ya, expect a "I quit cash games" thread in a month.

or just focus on making money in other ways (buying seats, other staking, business stuff, etc)

[/ QUOTE ]

Staking doesn't take too much focus, that will continue, if I do buy seats, I will not be playing them out, unless I think it is still a good investment knowing that I will likely have to pay out a significant amount of money.

Going to try to do better in school, get outside more, etc.
