I'd bet but think it's a leak.

Usually checking is better.

I play PF the same, and after his check on the flop, I'll bet ~300 and take this down almost everytime. At a 6.50, I have found this to be a check of weakness much more than checking to trap. If he calls or raises, I'm done with the hand.

This is exactly what happened this time... Hero bets 300 villain folds... but I feel like about 1/3 times I'm in this spot I'm getting check raised and losing an extra t300. I figured that would be a huge leak with JJ... but I guess it's just going to have to be all situational with flop texture and notes on villain, oh wait, no reads this early... damn.
