Default 20/40 Folding a Set

Limp UG w/ 88. Dead money limps behind. Button raises. SB calls, BB folds. I call, limper calls (pot= 180).
Flop : A(c)8(c)Q(c). SB bets. I call. Limper folds. Button calls (pot=240)
Turn K(d). SB checks, I bet, Button raises, SB 3bets. I fold.
River brick. SB shows J3(cc), button shows T2(cc).
If SB can bet flop into 3 other players, then C/R turn, I know he has flush. If button can call flop, then open raise into the SB, I thought he had a bigger set with redraw(instead hitting flush over flush w/ napkins).
Solid fold? I think so...
If i could see hands face up, easy call, but still, folding set in aggressive limit game?

You are getting 6 to 1, unless I did some math wrong?? in an agressive game, with a set, I call it, whether thier hands are face up or not.

Folding a set, in an agressive limit game, against bad players, with a card to come adn a 3 flush on the board, getting odds, is bad play. I think I should be asking you that question.

1) we're not closing the action, so we could very feasibly be putting in 3 more bets here
2) button often has 2 pair or better here, taking away our outs
3) sb c/3b the turn. we are ahead here never.

1) We arent closing the action, but I almost dont mind that
2,3) JT, single naked club, flush, etc, I think you are jumping the gun when you say a bad player has to have 2 pair or better

I looked at what the players had, and made assumptions. Im pretty sure if the OP isnt a complete moron, he would have figured out long before this hand that the players are bad. Just because the OP "shouldnt" have given the results it doesnt matter, he did, if he doesnt, it changes everything Ive said about the hand so far. the best part about poker, is using all your available info, and peiceing your actions together like a puzzle, based on all the info you have.

Why wouldn't you raise the flop and fold to 3/4 bet for cheaper. Then why bet into 2 people when you could just check/fold a bet or c/r. Finally you have 7 outs of 42 which with the 6-1 you're getting laid you have odds to call and hit your full house. Bad lay down. Bad line.
