$109 v multitabler in BB
PartyPoker, Big Blind is t150 (5 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com
UTG (t1160) CO (t1601) Button (t2745) Hero (t2709) BB (t1785) Preflop: Hero is in SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, CO folds, Button folds, Hero ? The multitabler was 'ThisMyBuyIn' if that makes a difference. It's breakeven around the 17% call mark, to save anyone doing the SNGPT maths on it. And, he shouldn't call with something like A4s unless he puts me on literally any two, give or take 10%. |

Re: $109 v multitabler in BB
I think the converter is screwy. Don't you have 18-19BBs behind after posting the SB - this isn't a push fold decision is it?

Re: $109 v multitabler in BB
I do but the BB doesn't, therefore the effective stack for this hand is 11BB. Everyone else has folded.
Payouts are .5/.3/.2, standard party. He's played me before, so he knows I will pushbot. |

Re: $109 v multitabler in BB
I wouldn't push, I'd probably limp or raise 400. If he's going to play back at you with a very wide range of hands, then just fold and limp aces next orbit.

Re: $109 v multitabler in BB
Ahh.. k.. Well, if that opens up his range enough, it is probably a fold then. You can save some table image for later and wait for blinds to get higher before pushbotting.

Re: $109 v multitabler in BB
62s is a little too crappy to play. You're break-even (maybe) pushing it. It's very hard to play OOP if you raise 2.5-3 BB and get called. Completing almost always sucks. Fold and get a slightly better hand next time.

Re: $109 v multitabler in BB
I don't trust many to fold enough to push this. If your only read is that he's a multitabler then you can't push. Raising is fine, but that has more to do with game conditions and what has happened in your battle of the blind's thus far. He likely won't push instinctively to a limp, both because not a lot of people do, but also because even less poeple are willing to risk the amount of chips he has just punishing a sb limp. So I think limp and raise are both good options depending on the situation. If you anticipate having a problem with either of those there is no shame in folding, but a lot of people will make limp or raise profitable for you. I think pushing is your worst option.
