Greetings,

I opened an FT account a couple of years ago and played there with some frequency (mostly MTTs so not a lot of volume). Recently I switched to playing more cash games again and heard about the possibility of switching my account to get RB. It was denied (I assume because I originally downloaded from what was likely a sponsored link).

Frankly, I am unhappy that I pay full rake now that I am giving them my business whilst others are getting RB as new signups (its a loyalty thing). I am considering setting up a new account using a relative's credentials but would rather not. Are there any alternatives?

<rant>btw, why does FT rake tourneys higher than other sites. I would think a site built by players would actually seek to reduce rake for the player base.</rant>
