Woow, you played 80 and didnt tell me? I woulda walked down to the Borgata if I had to...

I think you played the hand the only way you could. I just call the river but I honestly can't think of a single hand he has that beats you. Strange hand.

I would've bet the flop. I'd be calling the river.

OOP? How often is this a good semi-bluff into a PF raiser and overcaller? I think fold equity is pretty slim here.

Turn check raise is clever - maybe. I think I like betting this turn instead.

River....hmmmm... I'm prolly 80% sure we're good, so a 3-bet isn't out of the question. He could be taking a shot at the scare card with a K - Call is safer. I'm calling.

Agreed, but semi-bluffing/fold equity isn't the main reason for the bet. Betting patterns, hand ranges etc. Saying to always/never bet in this scenario with this type hand can never be right. There's times I might ch also. I just looked at this scenario and said bet.

Name one possible hand the button can have here that the OP does not beat. I had trouble coming up with a single hand.

yeah I know, I quoted the wrong person when I wrote my previous post. Certainly I think leading the flop is a reasonable play. I don't give the button much of a hand here and cutoff probably has a wide range, a lot of which he can't call with.
