Default Reduced Prima RB

So if all the prima sites go down to 30% RB is it still contributed or is it dealt? If it's still contributed isn't that the equivalent of 15% dealt rb on average? Also, this means people who were getting 65% on places like Battlefield are no only going to get 30%. That's a huge dropoff! That really sucks. Why did they change their policy so drastically?

Mine just changed from 63% to 30%. I am on Battlefield. When it happened I contacted Battlefield support to enquire and they told me it was a policy change made by Microgaming that went for all Prima sites. However, it seems people on the others skins were not affected, so not sure what this means. But, like previous poster said, considering the poor software and the fact the games are not particularly juicy, maybe it is time to move on now that rakebake is actually lower than most other sites. (Considering it is actually rakeback and not based on hands dealt in)

Evigt_Drabbad: Dunno about other skins, but at Battlefield there's a button called POKER ACTION between the FIND PLAYER and BANK buttons. If you click this button and then Redeem in the menu to the left you should be able to see your current percentage in green under "Rake %". If there's no POKER ACTION button at the site you play, I suppose you could contact support and ask them.

jdock99: I think the percentage is supposed to drop to 30 at all Prima sites. Can affiliates/players at other sites please confirm this?

To all of you with questions:

We are affiliates for several Prima poker sites and I can tell you exactly what has happened and the situation we're facing on Prima now.

As of November 28th 2006 Prima has tighened their policy on rakeback. In fact their exact policy says that after that date no longer can it be advertised. Players can get a maximum of 30% rakeback and only after they have first made a deposit can they request this via their affiliate. So what you will find now is that there are a lot of strange ways of presenting it with vague information to go with it.

At the same time it was said that deals from before November 28th would be grandfathered in, but that on 1st of February everyone including previous 30%+ players would be reduced to a fixed 30% - no exceptions.

Obivously with as many licensees as they have (exceeding 40 not counting the 3rd party skins) someone is going to break the rules. And when another skin suspects someone is breaking the rules they will do it too. Our guess is that Prima is not going to mind kicking out one of these sites so I think we have to live with a 30% maximum rakeback on Prima at this time.

Hopefully some of the rules surrounding this will be modified as time goes by.

I hope this cleared up some of the questions you guys had
