$4/180 on Stars. Blinds at 15/30.
Folded to MP who limps. Hero (T2800) in hijack (directly to the left of the limper) raises to 120 with red 77. Villain in CO (T3800), who is unknown, MIN-RE-RAISES to 210. Folded to me, I call, and we go heads up to the flop. Flop(T495): Tc9c9s Hero bets T300, Villain calls. Turn(T1095): 4d Hero bets 450, Villain calls. River(T1995): 2s Hero checks. Villain bets T1080. Hero folds. I think my turn bet might have been spewy, and the only modifications I would make to my line would be to check-fold the turn. What do others think? |

Since you replied to my post about stealing with the minreraise, I'll reply to you here. Most of the time in 4/180's at least, villain MEANS it when he reraises preflop. That's why the steal works. I guess he could be on a massively overplayed AK here but you don't really know even after betting the flop and turn, and he views your river check as weakness.
I say check turn, block bet river if turn is checked through. In other words, your hand has some showdown value, try to get there as cheaply as popsicle. |

Call for set value preflop, and check/fold this flop.

Would you call a sizeable turn bet?

I play this one like Fiks.
limp and check/fold almost every flop that you miss. |
