Default Beat: Will NEVER get a response in \"Home Poker\"

Beat: I will never get a response to the problem posted below in the Home Poker forum since nobody goes there
Brag: I'm taking advantage of the quick reply rate of BBV
Variance: Lots of variance in my problem below

After one player in our live 1/2 game took too long to act, another player at the table called the clock on him-- in our game you get 60 seconds once another player calls the clock on you. Unfortunately the dealer didnt have a watch so the player who called the clock was counting the 60 seconds on his watch. Once it got down to 10 seconds, the player who was timing it screams out "9,8" and after counting down 2 numbers the guy who was still deciding is upset, and yells "shut the **** up and let me decide". Time eventually gets down to zero, the dealer says "time is up," but doe snot proceed to grab the cards or say "your hand is dead" or anything along those lines. Instantly after the dealer says "time is up" the player deciding pushes all-in. The player who had made the raise this guy was thinking abotu calling or raising over the top of objects, saying that the time bank ran out and wants an official ruling. What would your ruling be here?

Granted the fact that one of the players and not the dealer counted down is retarded and wont happen again-- but theres still some questions here. Does the player's all-in stand since he was interrupted for 2-3 seconds by having to tell the player counting down out loud to be quiet? Does the players all-in stand becuase the dealer did not physically muck his cards yet or tell him his hand was dead? Interesting issues abound-- forget that the entire time bank issue was handled not in the best manner possible, but as it happened, what should be the ruling?

My ruling is how the [censored] can a decision in a 1/2 home game be so difficult that it takes a full minute to make?

Why Speed Poker™ is more exciting than regular Hold'em
Speed Poker™ is played pot limit before the flop, no limit after the flop. Once the game is "Heads Up" there is no limit to any of the action!

The basics
Six players per table.
Two dealers per table.
Each player must act within fifteen seconds.
If players fail to act before the time limit expires:
- If they had to call an opponent's bet, their hand is automatically declared dead.
- If there was no prior action, their hand is automatically checked.

Calling the clock procedures: Once a realistic amount of time has passed and a clock is called for, a player will be given one minute to make a decision. If action has not been taken by the time the minute is over, there will be a ten second countdown. If a player has not acted on his hand by the time the countdown is over the hand will be dead.

Note there's a countdown too, but it's after the minute. However in your rules it seems fine that the countdown is part of the minute.
