Daniel Craig's name in "Layer Cake"?

I've been watching this movie, Layer Cake, for the past few weeks and I want to figure out the name of the main character. My theory is that it is "Charlie" because of the ambigiuos talk, between Eddie Temple and the main character. Whaterver, theorize and post....

As far as I know, it's left deliberately unknown...both in the book and the movie.

Snatch, centered around the high up drug game in Europe.

I wouldn't really say it's like snatch/lock stock... but it's a good movie and definitely worth watching.

Not even close to the quality of Snatch or Lock Stock IMO.

I liked it a lot. Haven't seen Lock Stock or Snatch, but the latter got plenty of bad reviews and the former is a lot more popular on OOT than it was elsewhere. Don't take OOT seriously for movie recommendations.

Daniel Craigs official name in the book is XXX and he doesn't have a name in the movie. Lock Stock dominates Snatch and I would say Layer Cake is a few notches below Lock Stock. I've left Layer Cake on repeat while doing work and the more you watch it, the more you realize it's a really disjointed movie and doesn't flow all that well.

The guy who was behind Lock Stock & Snatch ( not Guy Ritchie ) is also behind Layer Cake ... he was either one of the main producers or the Screenwriter, but I actually think the writer of Layer Cake wrote the Screenplay for LC.
