Re: play this hand with me grinders.
I agree with a call here, 4-betting a tighter than normal tag, who just reraised you UTG+1 when you raised UTG without reads. I don't think you'd be ahead of his range enough to gain value from that 4-bet pf.
I'll take a quick stab at his re-raising range, standard would be something like 1010 plus, AK. |

hmmm from playing with this guy I'd take TT out of that range, esp. due to his position.

Agreed, due to your "tighter than normal" read.

o.k. pf is pretty boring here's where it get's interesting.
Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($12.75, 2 players) hero?? Wow! What a massive flop! |

Re: play this hand with me grinders.
If he is putting any more money in his range is narrowed further and is quite a fine range now: AA / KK / AK. I believe that there is 16 ways that you can be dealt AK, but only 6 ways you can be dealt AA or KK (this may be slightly incorrect). Therefore, you should be good here 16 / 28 times, and what with the money in the pot, it's time to be start betting to get it in. Don't check as he may have JJ and a T on the turn would be sick. |

Re: play this hand with me grinders.
It really depends what king of action youre willing to take on the flop if you just call or if you 4-bet and he calls.
If you call and a dry flop comes, whats your plan, Shove? If you call and A, K fall, whats your move? Preflop If you 4-bet and he shoves, you are 4 to 1 dog. Here is to find where you can loose the less and win more. I think calling preflop and being oop is always bad except what kind of range his 3-bets are, if he is really tag my guess is QQ+, AK, thats it (except maybe if he 3-bet light sometimes). so I wouldnt 4-bet against that type of player and I would call his bet and put him on a decision with a c-bet |

Re: play this hand with me grinders.
With that flop his possible hands are
AK - 9 combos AA - 3 combos KK - 3 combos You beat 9 of 15, so I think you have to get it all-in somehow right? |

Re: play this hand with me grinders.
stack a donk?
He obviously bets everything in his range if you check, perhaps even a c-bet with JJ once in a while, but would nothing in after the flop with JJ. |
