I really like gobbo, but this seems like a poor way to present yourself if your future is tournament poker.

"What was your impression of the Aussie Millions?

The buy-in was 10K AUS which is 8k USD. 99% of the field could not tie their shoes. They were complete idiots. A few good pros: Negreanu, Ivey, Hansen, Cunningham, Antonius, some people I respect. A few others maybe. But Kristy Gazes and those like her were dead money."

Gobbo doesn't really speak like the guy in the interview. I'm confused.

The editor of this blog is a friend of mine. And I have no problem admitting that I think most pros are much worse players than people think. Saying names is bad though, so I asked him to edit it.

Edit: I gave him general answers and he edited it from my aim answers into longer thoughts, so it's not completely word for word.

Nice hand. He probably should have kept his mouth shut.

I cringe somewhat when Gobbo speaks his mind, but maybe the poker world will benefit from Gobbo-truth.

I loved the "my favorite hand" part. You are a coldhearted bastard. And we love you for it.

I guess I was the only one who thought gobbo sounded like a douchebag for taking this line. Even if you do believe they're donks, Jimmy, haven't you ever heard of not berating fish or acting cordially towards your opponents? Also, you played like crap on day 3 and got lucky out your ass--I am pretty dissapointed at how publicly and consistently un-humble you have been throughout this.
