$27: 1 card flush on the river
Running bad of late for so long that I don't think I can blame bad luck anymore, so I figured I'd start posting some hands. Specifically I'm looking for hands that I think should be fairly straightforward, and hopefully stumble upon some horribly misplayed ones in the process.
So. Rivered A high flush on a paired board and he bets into me. Raise or call? If raise, value or push? If value, call 3bet or fold? Feel free to comment if anything else stands out to you. Re: $27: 1 card flush on the river
1) Fold PF
2) make a real bet on the flop or check...90 is lame IMO 3) maybe villain was slowplaying a set?! and rivered a boat. I would raise to 500 and fold to a 3bet. Against a good Villain i am only calling here. Also, if you`re not able to fold to a 3bet you should be just calling 4) make a note. this hand should tell you pretty much aboutvillain (does he slowplay; is he a bad calling station, i.e calling your river raise with the J of diamonds here etc.; does he bluff a scary board...) |

Huh, that's certainly interesting. I'm pretty damn tight early in a SnG, but I thought ATo was a pretty standard value raise when opening from CO. I know the blinds are calling with tons of weaker hands.

[/ QUOTE ] if you play g00t post flop then this is fine. i wouldnt always play it and i wouldnt play it from the hijack, and id usually play it from the button. anyways, it looks fine overall, raise the river to 700 |
