Re: NL25: Another strong draw OOP
Why are you C/C the turn? Either bet $7ish or C/R it.

Re: NL25: Another strong draw OOP
I'd play it the same way. If Button folded on the flop, I'd probably fire again on the turn. But OOP, passive looks good.

Re: NL25: Another strong draw OOP
Button doesn't have a very strong hand here, or else he'd be protecting against the flush draw, and he'd be raising instead of going for overcalls. I'd bet the turn for sure, and maybe a bit more on the river.

Re: NL25: Another strong draw OOP
c/r the turn isn't good.
vs a range of 89hh AT 89o Axhh 66,77,TT+ we're a 3:1 dog on the turn. whereas vs the same range we're a 60/40 fav on this flop. pot the flop - we're against 4 players hopefully one of them will raise and we can 3bet all-in we want to get max value vs a QT/JT holding and want to make Axs pay mucho grande to draw to their flush. Lead the turn for ~$7 for the same reason. river is goot. |

Re: NL25: Another strong draw OOP
I would bet the turn here like... always. We have a TPNK and flushdraw hand. I love to make the pot bigger allowing myself for a nicer valuebet on river.

Re: NL25: Another strong draw OOP
I don't think we can get much more value on the river as he's played it so weakly. You could go 3/4 and hope for a call maybe.
There's a n outside chance he'll see a half pot river bet as weak and throw out a raise which we could call. The bigger the river bet we make the smaller the likely hood he raises with a hand we beat.. |

Re: NL25: Another strong draw OOP
I think I understand now why I should be betting the turn. If I whiff the river, is it generally better to try to block, or just check/call (check/fold to a biggish bet)?
