Hand 1: Raise more PF. Bump it up to at LEAST $3. As played..I'd probably lean towards a fold.

Hand 2: No way I'm folding that. I'll pay off 22 ,KK and AA. A lot of times you'll get paid off by 77-JJ

I'd typically fold hand 1 but not hand 2.

Hand 1 you're not ahead of much--a weak A, KQ, a flush draw--and even some of those hands have outs against you. Plus you're OOP, so if you're ahead you're unlikely to get any more money on the river, and if you're behind you'll be facing a river bet.

Hand 2, I could see Villain doing this with a smaller overpair or a flush draw. AA and KK are a bit less likely because not 4bet preflop. Given that there's a fair bit of money in the pot already, I think you'd have to be pretty sure you're beat to fold.

I'd like to call and check/raise all in on turn to let him commit himself with his 77-JJ hands instead of allowing him to fold to my reraise. If he has 22,AA or KK, then good for him.

#1: push the turn - or fold - either is goot and both are about the same EV I think. If we were in position then check call it down given that we're OOP and stacksizes mean it's all going in anyway on pretty much any river mak a read and go with it - if you pick him for a J fold - otherwise jam.

#2: Snap call - overpair = nuts and there's about a 2% chance his hand has a 3 in it, if he has AA/KK such is life.
