NBC Heads Up List of 62 is out

I haven't had a chance to see if there are any obvious snubs. There are four actors.

They got the last 4 WSOP winners this time around at least.
I don't undertand Don Cheadle and Shannon Elizabeth, but Tilly and Kaplan are legit enough in the poker world.
No James Woods or Jerry Buss...but I guess we'll keep seeing Rene Angelil as long as this thing is at Caesars. Also...no Evelyn Ng!

One thing that jumped out at me is the invitation of Clownie Gowen over better women players. I cannot recall Gowen ever being on tv for anything other then a made for tv short handed table event. When the highlight of your career is winning a 6 handed WPT Ladies Night event that is not exactly the same as making a final table in a tournament with hundreds of players.

Kathy Liebert, Mimi Tran or even Vanessa Rousso would have been better choices.

I will not even go into the actors. Other than saying Jeniffer Tilly has proven her skill by winning a 600+ tournament. So an invite to Jen is okay in imho. Gabe is obviously a skilled player who's invitation is well deserved.

Cheryl Hines played quite well on the poker equalizer thing..
They're going to invite people that are popular in the poker world over less know - though more successful people.. mheh

The only thing is some people might get easier draws than other because of the few weak actor players and such in the draw.

i dont know cheadle (ida invited jerry buss myself), but shannon elizabeth is a member of team full tilt *shrug*, username shannon...maybe she can play...

Looks like no Men the Master, Dan Harrington or Hoyt Corkins.

I know it is impossible to get all the deserving players in the field.

I would have liked to see Johnnybax get an invite.
