Default Garbled output when dragging programs between monitors

Alright, I tried searching this one because I could have swore that I have seen it asked before, but I couldn't find anything.

I have had dual monitors for a long time, but this problem has only been occurring for maybe 6 months. Around that time I hadn't changed anything like drivers or anything to do with video, so I don't know what may have caused it.

Anyone experience this before or know how to fix it? The resolutions on both monitors are the same. The only way to get rid of the "garbledness" is to minimize the effected program and maximize it.

Thanks in advance.

odd...never ran into that. I'll assume you did the latest driver thing from the mfr.

6 months??? Damn...I thought I was lazy

I've had multi-mon probs in 'nix related to kernel updates...but there aren't the easy config files to tweak in doze

edit: didn't you used to have an avatar??
