Default logistics of roulette

Any preferences on this game? I have been in casinos before, however never spent time at the wheels. Curious as to some information about the game. How long does it take to play thru one spin? What are generally the minimum bets? Basically, are there any rules against betting patterns? If one had a bankroll to support it, would a martingale betting strategy be economical? please add anything else about the game, I am very interested and would be glad to hear any input. thanks

Default Everything yout need to know about roulette

Even money bets: (red/black odd/even high/low. 19 of 38 slots win, pay even money.
Numbers: 1 of 38 slots win, pay 35: 1.

If you don't understand why these are sucker bets, don't gamble, you have no hope of doing anything but giving your money away.

I will say one thing in defense of roulette. It is an honest game; the house edge is boldly displayed, obvious to anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of probability. The layout boldly says, "Come on suckers, throw your money away."

ok, consider this scenario. u have 30k br. u will play roulette beginning with 1$ bets. following a martingale betting pattern, this will allow u 15 losses in a row. (incase u dont know, for everytime u win, u will make ur initial bet back) So if u played 60 games an hr and won 25 on average for 4 hrs, u would have 100$. is this not a plausible strategy? OR consider this strategy with an endless bankroll, u will not ever lose! OR not that it makes too much of a dif. but consider a game with lower house odds.

I want to know which casino pays out on any of the even money bets when it hits a 0 or 00. It is actually only 17 of 38 slots that pay if you bet these. Don't flame me I just want to clarify this, because most don't pay this way and you changed the subject line to a make it seem like it was that easy.

Roulette is a low expectation bet when you bet on the inside, but the fact that you can bet as low as $0.25 per spin on the inside makes it less painful when you don't hit any part of your spread for 10 straight spins. I agree with the previous posters that it is pretty much throwing your money away, but it is fun and I love the expectation of waiting for the ball to hit. If you gamble for entertainment then this is pretty cheap entertainment.

I'll just split the difference and say it's 18 of 38.

1) No casino allows a bet spread of 1 to 30,000.

2) If you can lose 15 times in a row, you can lose 16 times in a row, then you are BUSTO, all for the hope of winning a mere $100.

3) Yawn.
