affiliate skimming?
I am 100% positive I generated 25% more mgr than my affiliate claims he was paid for this month. He insists that he has always believed that Empire was screwing him and he strongly denies any wrongdoing. I trust Empire and I find it hard to believe Empire whould do this. What should I do here?

Re: affiliate skimming?
Email Empire and ask them if they can tell you much rake you paid in January.

Email Empire and ask them if they can tell you much rake you paid in January. [/ QUOTE ] Has anyone ever tried this with Empire or Party? I assume they wouldn't release this info to a player because they generally don't want players knowing how much rake they pay each month. |

Re: affiliate skimming?
I wanted to avoid coming right out and inquiring about rake, so I sent them an email asking for my vip points. I play sng's so each dollar I pay in rake = 1 point. They emailed me back stating my total points for last month were X amount which is 25% lower then my affiliate claims he was paid for. There are no bonuses effecting my point total, and 99.5% of my play is sng's. I have been lazy about double checking my mgr previous to this month so would be a prime candidate for skimming. Any advice is appreciated.

Re: affiliate skimming?
Empire has recently given some special bonuses that you can put in play without meeting the raked hands requirements first. It's just a few extra dollars in your account. They will eventually take this money back if don't meet the raked hand requirement but in the meantime you can gamble with it.
These bonuses are immediately deducted from MGR. If and when a bonus is reclaimed by Empire it is added back to MGR. Sound like this might apply to you? |

Re: affiliate skimming?
I would rather not say until I sort through all of this bs. Does anyone know if it is possible to change affiliates if your original affiliate agrees to let go of your account?

Re: affiliate skimming?
Empire deposited $100 in my account with no explanation. They just said "we deposited $100 into your account have a good time at the tables". I never make deposits or use bonus codes etc. This is not the first time this has happened, they did it after the split once or twice also. Would this $100 effect my affiliates records? if so by how much?

Re: affiliate skimming?
Yes these come off MGR just like a bonus would.
If your rakeback was 25% then this would take $25 off your rakeback. Its still a good deal because you gave up $25 in rakeback to get $100 directly. If you have gotten these before then that explains why you would be off. You make it sound like your rakeback was more then $100 though so maybe not. I hope that makes sense, 3am here and time for bed. |
