Default Bank wire successful

I just received a 4k bank wire from one of my online gambling accounts today. The site also specifically said they could not do echecks though. Are bank wires that different from echecks, I guess they don't go through that ACH system then?

[/ QUOTE ] Yep. Wire transfers go through a service called S.W.I.F.T. Its essentially anonymous which is why people are still able to get cash on and off with Western Union. Also there are so many wire transfer done daily (something insane like 6 million in the EU alone) that poker transfers wouldn't amount to a percent of a percent of a percent of total traffic.

I posted to bring up the idea of bank wires for everything, not to bring attention to whatever site for being successful in doing it. The key here is if bank wires are truly anonymous, then there is some extra hope.

I am assuming this costs more than echecks, since most sites prefer echeck to bank wire (a lot charge for a bank wire). However, since echecks aren't even an option anymore, maybe this becomes the standard way to fund/wd accounts.

So are you saying you're FOS?

Because some people are trying to get their money off sites and would like to know if any of them are doing this...

AFAIK, there aren't any poker sites that list wire as a withdrawal option.

Was it online gambling or poker? (or as previous poster implied... neither)
