Re: 99 flop flush...
Regardless, I think I donk this flop in hopes of an overpair raising between the two behind me so I can 3bet.

flop c/r attempt is fine. For the love of god, 3 bet the turn.

Re: 99 flop flush...
I prefer a bet/3bet line on this board because CO is checking behind if he whiffed overs without a club and if he does have an overpair he'll likely raise. Watching this flop get checked through 4 handed sucks and it will happen a reasonable amount of the time as CO would have to be nuts to bet the flop 4 handed with UI overs no club.

Re: 99 flop flush...
Betting the flop isn't any good. You have a chance to trap 2 people and CO is betting a lot. When he doesn't BT will bet a lot too. Leading doesn't protect your hand. If someones going to call a crappy club or gs for one, which is a terrible play here, they'll call for two as well. Instead of trying to protect here we should go for value.
On the turn, 3-bet. His play reeks of a big hand or maybe Jx, but there are a lot fewer flushes then 77/Jx. Plus you have a big draw to a FH/quads. |
