Two hands with two pair
Went to the local B&M last night hand had two hands that I felt dirty about.
Both were to the same villian. I had about $200, and he had me well covered. For about two hours, he was playing everything and winning everything. If the flop came 933, you could guarantee this guy had called the preflop raise with 93. One extenuating circumstance: Before these two hands, I had been completely card dead. I don't think I played more than two hands in the previous two hours. FIRST HAND: I get KQ of spades. I raise to 10, villian is only caller. flop: [Kh Qh 3h] I bet 20, he calls. turn: [Kh Qh 3h] [8c] I check, he bets 35, I reluctantly call. river: [Kh Qh 3h] [8c] [6h] I check, he bets something, I obviously fold. Comments on all streets welcomed. SECOND HAND: Dealt 65 diamonds in an unraised pot. I call, as do several others, including the villian. Flop: [6h 5h 8s] I bet 15, villain raises to 30, all others fold, I call. Turn: [6h 5h 8s] [Jc] No way am I going to let this guy draw to his flush or straight. I am down to my last 100, so I go all in. Comments on all streets welcome. Also: did I overvalue these hands because of my card-dead-ed-ness? |

Re: Two hands with two pair
So shoving on the flop is a standard play here against draw-y boards?
I have been losing ALOT of money with two pair lately and was hoping maybe I have been overvalueing them. I guess not. |
