$16 - 44 + big stack = I push
Hi,
PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com CO (t2530) Button (t2390) Hero (t6805) BB (t1775) Preflop: Hero is in SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] CO folds, Button raises to t600, Hero raises to t6805 (All-in) Is this a good idea generally ? Given the situation (bubble, stacks, etc ...) my reasonning is that I can only be called by huge hands. Your thoughts ? |

Re: $16 - 4 + big stack = I push
Seems like a great push. Button might be trying to steal with unpiared highcards for example.. A coinflip is fine when you are the bigstack, no ?

Well you have a chance to knock him out and hopefully you are just flipping a coin here. He probably calls a lot wider than you think after putting 25% of his stack into the pot though.

If villain was me, this is KK/AA all the time. Readless, he is just a random donk trying to steal your chippies. Nice hand.

I like it. You have great FE. Villain can fold an still has equal chips to BB. BB will nearly always fold, even with AK or QQ.

Re: $16 - 44 + big stack = I push
I like the push. This is where you should be owning the bubble. The only time I don't push this is if Button had been pushing all of the hands he opens, then all the sudden he raises 3x setting a trap. At that point I would call and see a flop.

Also, I call in the BB with QQ 100% of the time readless. |
