Default Mayweather Sr. wants $2M to train against his son

“ I'd work for Oscar if the deal is right, because that's my job and boxing is just a sport. ... If you want me to tell you how to beat my son -- and I'm the only one who can tell Oscar how to do that -- then you need to pay
me. ”
— Floyd Mayweather Sr.

The highly anticipated fight between De La Hoya and Mayweather is nearing. Floyd's dad says he is the only one that knows how to beat his son.

Anyone believe this crap????

Floyd Sr. has trained De La Hoya before, and Sr. and Jr. aren't on speaking terms.

FMJr 118, ODLH 110. Speed kills, nothing anyone tells Oscar gonna change that. If Sr. is serious about the 2KK he'll be walking back from Big Bear.

On what planet do they use that abbreviation? It's MM or mil.

Why is million abbreviated with two M's? Shoulden't it just be M? Billion is B, not BB.

Edit: roman numerals I guess?

The origin of the word Million...

"The name is derived from Italian, where milla was 1,000, and 1,000,000 became millione, "a large thousand"."

Thousand is mil in Spanish. Milli is Latin and used in words like millimeter. Also as you said, M is thousand in Roman numerals. So, M is well associated with thousand throughout the world. The second M in MM basically tells you it's 1000 thousands, or 1 million. I work in advertising with millions of dollars. M vs. MM can be a huge mistake. As for K's, I beleive it should typically only be used with dollar figures ($120K). Every other use as an abbreviation for thousand, you should use M (120M people) but that isn't followed very often.
