AQ reraised hits TPTK
how do you play this? I would be folding to a normal reraise preflop. (not enough stats on villian to be significant)

Re: AQ reraised hits TPTK
you would have folded to a normal raise preflop - yet you fold to a min-raise postflop ???
just call the flop and see the turn. You have an OK hand and position - use position to control the potsize and get this hand to SD cheap if you can. What worse hands call your flop raise? if the turn is a brick and SB leads strong again fold with confidence that you're beat - also if you are going to raise the flop make it at ~$18. $12 is weaksauce. |

Re: AQ reraised hits TPTK
um obviously I put him on KK/AA
min-raise preflop, donk bet flop followed by a another min-raise. I was curious if people always raise his flop bet or call and reevaluate his turn play |

If his range is TT+,AKs,AKo, your beating the AKs, TT and JJ and losing to AA and KK. The hands you're ahead of are folding to your flop raise and the hands you're behind are never folding, so raising lets your opponent play his hand perfectly in a FTOP sense. Just call, and see what happens on the turn. I'd be hoping to see a cheap showdown, which looks possible given villain's smallish flop bet. |

Re: AQ reraised hits TPTK
Don't turn your hand into 27o by raising the flop. You lose all of its value (TPTK) by doing that. Just call the flop and see the turn.

I don't see any value in raising the flop.

Re: AQ reraised hits TPTK
raising here is a very bad idea. flat call and reconsider on the turn. if he bets hard, a fold is good.

Re: AQ reraised hits TPTK
don't raise flop. you want to see showdown as cheaply as possible.
